Lincoln Farmer's Market
Scully Park, 316 S. Kickapoo St., Lincoln IL 62656
May 1, 2010 - October 30, 2010
Saturdays 7am-12noon & Wednesdays 4pm-6:30pm

CHURCHES: We are currently looking for churches that would like to have bake sales and fundraisers at the market. We will have 53 market days and you can choose Saturdays or Wednesdays.

- GROWERS & PRODUCERS: We are looking for produce vendors that grow fresh, local produce. We would prefer Logan County or surrounding counties if possible but are not closed to the idea of farmers from a little further away, especially if you have a true specialty crop that we don't offer. (The Logan County Department of Public Health has decided not to allow meat, eggs, or cheese for the 2010 season but has said they will work on plans to allow these types of state certified vendors for 2011.)

 - BAKERS: We are seeking excellent bakers that can follow the farmer's market act and food safety guidelines

- GOT TALENT?: We are looking for local artists and entertainers of all talent levels. Christian entertainers, rock, bluegrass, guitarists, singers, mimes, clowns, you name it. If you can perform a family friendly act for a couple of hours on a Saturday or Wednesday we are looking for you!

- COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS: This is a great way for you to meet the community and discuss what you have to offer. Be it services, fundraisers, or just raising awareness. We will be featuring a different organization every week. Please call ASAP to get your spot on the schedule.

Anyone interested in joining us during the 2010 season needs to contact me at their earliest convenience as spaces will be assigned first to returning vendors then by date of application. I will be happy to email or postal mail you all the information that you need to join us or just click here for the application. The market will be a fun, entertaining, enjoyable place to be this year. We will have the best produce, the best vendors, the best entertainment, and we will be working with the best organizations!! We will be giving back to the community that has helped us and supported us.

NOTE TO VENDORS: we will be having a pre-season potluck on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Once you are approved as a vendor you will receive the details regarding when and where so make sure you mark your calendar and get your fee and application in prior to this date if you wish to attend. We will enjoy some delicious food, great company, share information and ideas, and go over any last minute details or issues.
